About Carlen Altman
Since graduating from Oberlin College, New Yorker/hermit Carlen Altman has co-written and starred in the feature film, "The Color Wheel" (2009) for which she was nominated as one of "Filmmaker Magazine's 25 Faces of Film" in 2011 and nominated for an "Independent Spirit Award" in 2013 and has been featured in various publications including The New Yorker, Wall Street Journal, Purple Magazine and more.
She has also acted in the Sundance nominated film "You Won't Miss Me" by Ry Russo-Young, and acted as a recurring character in web series "High Maintenance", created by Katja Blichfeld & Ben Sinclair and "Tight Shots", created by Lena Dunham.
Her jewelry line Jewish Rosaries has been featured on The Today Show and is sold at weird jew-elry stores worldwide. She is currently writing for MTV, in pre-production for her directorial film debut, Loners Together, and writing this bio in Third Person.
